Hi, I’m Abbey!
I used to think the goal was just to get the job.
The title. The benefits. The sense of security.
But after navigating my own big pivots and helping others do the same, I realized something:
Most of us don’t need another job.
We need a career that fits who we’ve become.
Now I’m the founder of The Bold Professional: a career design company helping high-achieving professionals hit reset after a major life shift (think: becoming a parent, quitting a toxic job, moving cities, or realizing the ladder they were climbing was up against the wrong wall).
We’re not here for small pivots.
We’re here for reinvention.
We help you design your dream career, then go get hired for it.
Here’s what I believe:
You shouldn’t have to shrink your ambition to be a “good” employee.
You shouldn’t have to settle for a job just because it’s “safe.”
You deserve a career that makes sense now… in this version of your life.
That’s what I teach. That’s what I write about. That’s what I coach on.
And that’s what our community is all about.
So here’s what you’ll find here:
Job search experiments (the kind that actually move the needle)
Real stories of professionals who’ve landed $30K–$60K raises after working with me
The exact strategies you can use to optimize your interviews, networking, and negotiations (and actually get the job, referral, raise…)
Trends, myths, and traps in the current job market
Strategy breakdowns for figuring out what you actually want and how to go get it
If you're new here, this is my newsletter. It’s kind of like your career coach BFF in your inbox.
